get an improvement in the chords it finds

I tried it on 2 separate songs. The first was a song with just guitars and only 3 chords with a few related minors dropped in. It got the key right, but the chords where often placed after the change, and many of them were missing. At least it got the ones it did find pretty much right, and as a starting point for transcribing the music, it's okay. The second song I tried had just piano with a lot of broken chords. Again, it got the key right, and any chord that hit strongly one the first beat of a measure seemed to be in the right place. However, as with the first song, the chords were often placed later than they should have been, and many more were missing. Overall, this software is really only good to find you the key a song is played in, and to give you a start at the transcribing. You'll definitely need to be music-literate and willing to do a lot of manual corrections if you want to use the output of this to actually play the song. But, better than nothing, for sure.
